Restoration of Huis Beaucarne
We are currently in the final phase of the largest restoration in 250 years. Thanks to these works, the house is now open and accessible to everyone, including visitors with reduced mobility.
The historic grape greenhouse has been saved from ruin, and soon we will be able to reopen new rooms as well as long-closed historic spaces. In this way, the heritage site not only gains a secure future, but also offers a richer and more inclusive experience for all visitors.
After three intense years of major restoration works, the estate will shine again as it once did – starting in the spring of 2026. More news will follow very soon!

Huis Beaucarne celebrates 275 years!
An important year in which the largest restoration campaign ever was launched for its protected 18th-century grape greenhouse, gardens and interiors. Thanks to their love for Ename and their family residence, previous generations were able to preserve this history.
Today it is our responsibility to safeguard this remarkable heritage, restore it to its former glory and continue to share it with everyone who cherishes history and its beauty.
Marie Claire Fredericq-Lilar (1934 - 2022)
