1. Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to every agreement between Vzw Huis Beaucarne (Beaucarnestraat 9, 9700 Oudenaarde), BE 0687.636.958 and the user of the online reservation system. By placing an order, the user declares to have taken note of these conditions and the privacy policy, and to accept them in full. Vzw Huis Beaucarne reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time. The version available online at the time of the transaction shall apply.
2. Prices and Payment
- Rates: All prices are expressed in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. The price applicable at the time of the order is binding.
- Immediate payment: Orders placed through the system must be paid immediately using the available payment methods (including Bancontact, Mastercard, Visa).
- Invoicing: Users with a valid VAT or company number may, upon request, opt for payment by invoice.
- On-site payment: For certain reservations, it may be agreed that payment is made on site. In that case, the user must present the reservation confirmation and complete the payment on site using the available payment methods.
3. Delivery and Use of e-tickets
- Delivery: After successful payment, an e-ticket with a unique QR code is sent to the email address provided by the user. Tickets are provided exclusively in electronic form.
- Validity: An e-ticket is strictly personal (unless stated otherwise), valid for one-time use only, and only for the date or period indicated on the ticket.
- Control: Vzw Huis Beaucarne reserves the right to verify the identity of the holder at entry, especially for reduced-rate tickets. Without valid proof for the reduced rate, access may be denied or a surcharge may be required.
- Loss: Vzw Huis Beaucarne is not liable for loss, theft, or misuse of e-tickets by third parties.
4. User Obligations
The user is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. The person making the purchase is considered the sole contracting party and is responsible for payment, even if the tickets are intended for third parties. Vzw Huis Beaucarne may refuse or cancel an order in case of (suspected) fraud or outstanding debts.
5. Cancellation and Modification
- Right of withdrawal: In accordance with legislation concerning leisure activities on a specific date, the consumer does not have a right of withdrawal.
- Final purchase: Tickets and reservations cannot be modified, exchanged, or cancelled by the user. Tickets already paid for are non-refundable. Any discounts cannot be applied retroactively after purchase.
- Force majeure: If Vzw Huis Beaucarne must cancel the visit due to force majeure (e.g. technical defects, safety reasons), an alternative date will be proposed in consultation with the user. If no alternative is possible, the ticket price will be refunded.
6. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the district in which the association has its registered office.
